Where are people being affected by hazardous waste? Bret Ericson, Pure Earth’s Director of Operations, offers an overview of the Toxic Sites Identification Program (TSIP) and database. Funded by the European Commission, USAID, UNIDO, the World Bank, Green Cross Switzerland and others, TSIP works to locate and assess contaminated sites in low- and middle-income countries and identify those that pose the greatest threat to human health.
